Equine and Farm Services
Park Vets Equine The equine department is (and always has been) a perambulatory practice where our patients are attended to and treated in the comfort of their own home. We have an excellent mobile radiography unit which is operated by Anna Collins, and can also perform ultrasonography on site to a very high standard. We pride ourselves in being able to provide routine dental care, foot care and general health care in the least stressful manner for our patients at a reasonable cost to our clients. As a result of maintaining a good relationship with all the main referral centres we feel we are able to choose the best option for our patients/clients when the more complicated cases arise or when surgical treatment is obviously indicated. Bearing in mind the several different criteria that need to be taken into account, it is important that the Practitioner is well aware of what is available at the Referral Centres and the needs of the patient/client being referred. We are very fortunate at Park Equine to have loyal and experienced staff that also have a genuine desire to maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism whilst being extremely willing to answer client queries. The staff are always interested in the welfare of our patients which has encouraged them to build up a long term relationship with many of our clients. We are well aware of the importance
of working closely with farriers, dentists, physiotherapists, osteopaths and
chiropractors and feel it is very important to have a professional
relationship with a large cross-section as possible.
